Koru Voice Quests is an educational voice app for children ages 6–12. Through interactive conversations where kids teach an alien about Earth, we help develop curious thinking and clear articulation. We respect your child's privacy and collect only what's necessary to provide our service.

From Parents:

• Email address for account access and communication
• If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that account, used only to create and secure your account
• Your child's first name and age to personalize their experience

From App Usage:

• Voice recordings of your child's conversations with our AI character
• Transcripts of these conversations
• Topics discussed, conversation length, and frequency of use

Technical Data:

• Device type and operating system
• App performance data and crash reports

How We Use This Information

• Enable our AI character to remember past conversations with your child
• Personalize learning experiences based on your child's interests and conversation history
• Improve app performance and develop new features
• Communicate important updates to parents

We never sell your child's information or use it for advertising.

How We Share Information

Voice Processing and AI Services:

To enable voice conversations with our AI character, we use third-party AI services for speech recognition, conversation generation, and voice synthesis. Your child's voice recordings are processed by these services to power the interactive experience.

These AI service providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms of service, which include protections for data security and confidentiality. We select providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.

We also use:

Children's Privacy

Koru Voice Quests complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• Parents can review, delete, or withdraw consent for their child's information at any time
• We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our service
• Children cannot interact with other users — all interactions are with our AI character only

Changes to This Policy

We will notify you via email at least 30 days before making any material changes to this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
