Welcome

Koru Voice Quests ("Koru", "the app") is an educational voice app where children explore ideas through spoken conversations with Koru, a friendly AI alien character. The app is operated by Koruverse ("we", "us").

These terms are an agreement between us and you, the parent or legal guardian who creates the account. By creating an account or letting your child use the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your family's information.

Accounts Are Created by Parents

• You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child who uses the app under your account.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• Your child uses Koru with your consent and under your supervision. You can withdraw that consent at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.

What Koru Is (and Isn't)

Koru's side of every conversation is generated by artificial intelligence. We work hard to keep conversations warm, safe, and age-appropriate, but AI-generated responses can occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected.

• Koru is designed for curiosity and conversation practice. It is not a substitute for schooling, professional tutoring, medical or psychological advice, or adult supervision.
• If a conversation ever concerns you, please tell us at divij@koruverse.com — it genuinely helps us make Koru better and safer.

Using the App Fairly

Please don't:

• Use the app in any way that breaks the law or harms others
• Attempt to probe, disable, or get around the app's security or safety features
• Reverse engineer, copy, or scrape the app, its content, or its underlying systems
• Impersonate someone else or submit another person's information without their consent
• Use the app to build a competing product or dataset

Fees

Koru is currently free while we build alongside our founding families. If we introduce paid plans or features, we'll tell you clearly and in advance — you will never be charged without agreeing to it first.

Your Conversations, Our Character

• Your family's conversations belong to you. You give us permission to process them to run the service — powering conversations, remembering context, and preparing your parent recaps — as described in the Privacy Policy.
• The Koru character, app, artwork, and everything that makes them work belong to us. Using the app doesn't transfer any of that to you, and we don't get any ownership of your family's conversations.

Ending Things

• You can stop using Koru and delete your account and data at any time — see Your Rights as a Parent in the Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put children's safety at risk. Where practical, we'll tell you why.

Changes

Koru is a young product and features will evolve. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect — the same promise we make for our Privacy Policy. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

The Legal Bits

• The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of every kind, and our total liability to you is limited to the amounts you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you've paid nothing, to the minimum amount permitted by law).
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing reduces your rights as a parent under applicable children's privacy laws.
• These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts there, unless the law of your home country requires otherwise.
